GTA 6 Leonida Keys Map: Islands, Bridges and Beaches

South of Vice City, the mainland of Leonida breaks up into a long chain of tropical islands. These are the Leonida Keys, Rockstar's take on the Florida Keys, and one of the six regions officially confirmed for GTA 6. In this guide we show where the Keys sit on the map, what Rockstar has told us about them, and what to expect when the game launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Where are the Leonida Keys?

The Keys stretch out from the southern tip of the mainland, below Vice City. Like their real-world counterpart, they are a string of small islands linked by long roads and bridges over open water. On our map you can follow that route from the mainland all the way to the last island.

One thing to keep in mind: Rockstar has not released an official world map, an island count, or exact borders for the Keys. Our map is based on the fan-made reconstruction by the GTA VI Community Mapping Project, built from trailers, screenshots and official artwork. It is the most detailed picture available right now, but it is not official.

What to expect when you play

Based on what we have seen so far, the Keys look built around the water. Expect:

• Boats as a main way to travel, with marinas and boat yards across the islands
• Long bridge drives between the islands, perfect for scenic routes and chases
• Smaller island towns instead of one big city
• Smuggling as a theme, given the region's ties to drug running
• We will keep this guide updated after release with real locations such as safehouses, shops and collectibles.
